October Days

Today, I wore a red skirt that my mother made for me. It had designs that looked like flowers. My mom said that she will make one for herself too so that we can be matching. I wore it to church. At church, I learned about Isaiah and some of the quotes he said about the millenium and what it will be like such as all the wildlife being calm and all of the wicked being burned.

At school, we had an award assembly. I got two awards: straight A's award (Gold Star Award) and Perfect Attendance. So I got two sonic medium slush coupons. My principal is Mr. Ogston and he is really funny. What we did with him was...He told us to stand up and dance to the music that was playing for about 5 minutes until all the grown ups came. My mom and dad couldn't come because they were working but my brothers, Josh and Darren, could because my friend Amini's mother brought them. Mrs. Brown made Josh and Darren wave at me. It made me smile.

My Grandpa Crandall came over for General Conference and he painted more on my wall. He painted another tree but still did not finish. It looks awesome! My grandpa brought birthday presents for Jay and my dad and it was called Ladder Ball. It looks like a ladder and you have two balls hooked together with a short rope that you throw at the ladder and try to get them to hang on the ladder. It is fun but hard.
